CBS Atlanta vs. Fox 44

Both websites are very well put together, and both can clearly get the job done. However, I personally was more impressed with CBS Atlanta, though we can partially attribute this to their bigger market. It is most noticeable in the sports column, in which Atlanta has 7 different categories of sports coverage. While Fox 44 keeps up with 7 tabs of its own, they are on a lower scale of prominence. I look at it this way, CBS Atlanta is the best choice for those looking for national news, unless if you live in Vermont or New Hampshire in which case Fox 44 would be the better choice due to its favorable proximity.

As far as multimedia goes, CBS Atlanta holds a serious edge simply due to the magnitude of videos and photos. When you open the homepage, the first thing you see is a cluster of videos, not to mention the incredible amount of categorized slideshows, as opposed to Fox 44's one lonely slideshow. CBS Atlanta must have had at least 30 slideshows! The bigger market and I'd imagine a slightly larger web staff gives CBS Atlanta the edge.

NSN Sports

I was impressed by NSN sports. They are very organized as they have many different ways to categorize their sports information (by college, by high school, or by sport). The addition of Dartmouth and UVM to the lineup of colleges gives the website more star power and appeal, as both schools have developed a few professional prospects (Marques Blakely, UVM, Men's Basketball) and Chris O'Dowd, Dartmouth, Baseball. The DVD store is a unique addition though I'm not sure many people will buy a high school football game for 23 dollars though. This website seems to have a complete lock on what appears to be almost every high school in VT. There are 4 sections of Vermont high schools NEK, Central, Northwest and Southern Vermont. This website is well on its way to becoming a bigger market within the next 10 years.

Pimp My Blog

I pimped my blog out with utmost amounts of style and grace. I tried to make the background image the cover to my favorite album of this year, The R.E.D Album by The Game, however it did not work. I fortunately settled on a background of windmills, which I see off in the distance every morning in the back of Rita Bole. I put in a fish tank at the bottom which was properly named the FFA (Fish Fighting Association) training gym. I also had to put in asteroids, because it is an amazingly entertaining game. More blog posts will follow, I'll make sure each one is quite riveting.

CBS Atlanta

CBSAtlanta.com is the online news outlet for CBS News in Atlanta, GA. The website is very well put together and has every aspect covered from headline news, to multi-media, and even social-media. There is even an interesting rewards section. It is very easy to navigate through the website and is very user friendly.  CBS Atlanta's web division is definitely doing a very good job.
